Intense, concentrated aroma of blackberries. Elegant and smooth on the palate with an abundance of black forest fruit, liquorice and spice.

Producer note

Matias Riccitelli is the son of renowned winemaker Jorge Riccitelli (Bodegas Norton). Using the experience, knowledge and passion passed down from his father, Matias decided to set up his very own winery in 2009. His vineyards cover 20 hectares located in three selected sites within the premium growing region of Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza. This is a young and dynamic project in which Matias is seeking to express the full potential of Argentine terroir.

Viticulture

The vines are de-leafed and pruned in January. Grapes are handpicked from Matias Riccitelli's vineyard in Vistalba, Lujan de Cuyo.

Vinification

Grapes are vinified in small concrete vats. After 4 pump-overs per day and a 30 day maceration period, the wine is transferred into French oak barrels to age for 18 months. The final wine is then clarified before bottling.
