Lomo Alto Bio Blend

Origin

Located in the heart of the Castilla region, in the area of Villarrobledo, the vines of the Petalos de Aresan flourish on the Meseta plateau, at 750m altitude.

Vinification

Cold maceration, fermentation with frequent unloading, vatting (30 days), de-vatting, pressing, separation of the free-run juice, decanting of the wine lees, filtration and bottling.

Soil

Shallow soils with a sandy texture with 70 to 90cm of chalk stone and sandstone.

Tasting Note

Dark colour with violet shades, intense, bright. Expressive, notes of black fruits (blackberry, blackcurrant), vanilla and oak notes. Good balance on the palate, roundness, rich and concentrated.  A gourmet wine with a long finish.  

Food Match 

Ideal with Spanish omelette, soy steak or risotto.
